Juvederm® was launched in the UK in 2001.
It is made from a cross linked hyaluronic acid similar to the body's own natural collagen. It is non animal in origin and does not require a patch test.
The hyaluronic acid is eventually broken down over the months leaving no trace of the filler.
The gel is injected into the skin with a very fine needle, it plumps out the skin; filling lines, and deeper folds.

It is a safe treatment available in different formulations.

Juvederm Ultra was launched in 2008 combining local anaesthetic in the products for improved comfort. This a wonderful product for smokers lines and lip enhancements if you do not want to have a dental block for pain relief. It lasts slightly longer than our hyaluronic acid fillers, although it is a little more expensive than the other hyaluronic acid fillers. We recommend Juvederm ultra to clients who have found treatments of the lip and smokers line treatments uncomfortable.

Allergan the manufacturer claim it can last up to a year. We are awaiting feed back from our customers who have had this filler to confirm if this is the case but so fare feedback is promising.

Juvederm Ultra 2
For forehead wrinkles and moderate furrows e.g. glabella lines and mild nasal furrows and lips.

Juvederm Ultra 3
For folds, moderate nasolabial furrows and lips. e.g. Naso labial folds, marionette folds, and adding volume to lips.

Juvederm Ultra 4

For deeper folds, facilal contouring, cheek and chine enhancements.
